All our events are always free of charge. All are welcome, with no regard for religious and spiritual beliefs or practices.
Our work is entirely supported by donations. Spontaneous donations to support our work are always welcome and very much appreciated.
RiverGanga Foundation is a not-for-profit, 509(a)(2) public charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
Our Internal Revenue Service Employer ID Number is 77-0561647. All donations are tax deductible for US residents as charitable contributions.

The looking is medicine. The things that plague you, the things that make you think that there's something wrong with you or with your life, the ideas and thoughts about those things... little by little, they simply stop showing up. In the meantime, keep looking at yourself.

| Fundraising Campaign Update |

On December 26, we asked you to help us raise $6,000 to allow us to continue our activities through the first week of January. Within less than four days, you had already given us $6,000, counting single donations and new monhly pledges, so that we now have enough cash to get through the first two weeks of January. We are very grateful for your generosity.
On December 29, we sent out an email with detailed information about the foundation's budget for January and February and what we need to raise to get through the next two months.

There will be no public events in January.
This month, we are focusing all our energy and time on the development of the Just One Look experiment.
All regular meetings will resume in February.

| |
John is available for conversation in person, by email, by phone and online. Free of charge.
There will be no private meetings in January, except for those that were already scheduled as of January 2.

Our purpose in all that we do is to bring to you the simple, radical suggestion to turn your attention inward to try to get a taste of what it feels like to be you (what you refer to when you say 'me') for just a fraction of a second. This simple act will ignite a process that will make you whole and sane in the end.
Our Community Center serves that purpose by providing the means whereby we can all support one another as the process sparked by the looking unfolds, and consider together how best to make this good news available to all.
In the Community Center forums you can share your experiences with many people all around the world who are also engaged in looking at themselves.

| Just One Look Results Podcast |

Since July, when we sent out an invitation, many people around the world have already recorded reports of their experience with looking at themselves.
These recordings are available in the John Sherman Podcast, divided into 3 parts. We call them Just One Look Results. Each part is about 55 minutes long. You can listen to the podcast online and you can also download the mp3 file.
Many of the people who recorded their reports also posted a written version in the Community Center, in the Looking... Forum. You can listen to the individual recordings and read the written reports there.
We continue to receive new reports, and as soon as we have enough, we'll post another file to the podcast.
 We are recording reports in any language.
If your native language is not English, we would love to have your report too and add it to the podcast. This is a great way to bring your experience to people in your own country, in your own language.
Also, if you already recorded your report in English, we would be delighted to record it again, this time in your native language.

| 2009 Retreat Videos |
We have a new Retreat Videos blog, which has replaced the old one.
Please update your bookmarks to: http://www.johnsherman.org/retreat_videos/
We will start posting the complete videos of the 2009 Retreat (with subtitles in English) on Friday, January 6. After that, on each Friday morning, we will post a new video, until all eight 2009 Retreat videos are online, which will be by the end of February.
These videos will also be available on our new YouTube Channel, Just One Look.
The John Sherman Videos blog remains the same.

Our work, our purpose, and the goal of all our efforts is to make one simple insight into the root cause of all human misery and one simple act of inward looking universally available and accessible within the entire human community.
All of our meetings and events are always free of charge. All are welcome, with no regard for religious and spiritual beliefs and practices or any other thing.
Although our events are free of charge, they are certainly not free of cost. The money needed for this work must come entirely from the generosity and compassion of those who, like us, have seen for themselves the immense good that can come from spreading this good news to all humanity.
We have no trust funds, endowments or any other stable source of income apart from your donations, but we are a large community now, and even the smallest pledges and donations quickly add up.
We have roughly 3,000 people actively involved in our work now and, if 400 people — just 13% of the active community — can donate just one dollar a day for the next twelve months, that basic foundation will be ensured for 2012.
A monthly pledge of just one dollar a day can go a long way toward keeping alive this work of bringing the great good news of the looking to the whole world.
