It is our experience that Ramana Maharshi’s simple, perfect method of self-inquiry — self-seeking, actually — will snuff out all belief about what we are, and dry up the river of fearfulness and anxiety that flows from the belief that we are something limited, that we are these lives and nothing more. In the absence of that belief, life itself reveals itself to be the perfect realization of eternal being that we seek, and happiness abounds.

Our events and services are always free of charge. This is because we want to be able to speak about these matters with any human being who is willing to listen, including those who cannot or will not pay.

2007 Events and Activities

• Twenty-six Public Meetings attended by 732 people;
• One Full-Day Intensive with 35 people;
• One Afternoon event with 25 people;
• One Weekend Intensive with 20 people;
• One Five-Day Retreat with 43 people;
• Fifteen Worldwide Meetings, with a total attendance of at least 700 people calling in from all over the world;
• John had Private Meetings with 18 people.
  

Currently . . .

• In March, we began offering Five-Day Online Intensives every other month.
• Since April, we offer an Open House every Wednesday afternoon, where John is available online to speak with anybody who wishes to meet with him.
• We continue offering monthly Meetings in Ojai, CA and Santa Monica, CA and Worldwide Online Meetings twice a month.
• Our annual Five-Day Retreat will begin on November 7 in Ojai.
• John is available for Private Meetings in person (in Ojai), by phone or online.
• Several dozens of people, all over the world, are in active correspondence with John, receiving guidance and advice by e-mail.
• Translations of John's texts in German, Dutch, Italian, French, Danish, Hebrew, Spanish, and Portuguese are available on our website.
• We offer the RiverGanga browser toolbar, which provides direct and immediate access to all the excerpts, complete transcriptions, audio and video media available on our website, through a simple browser interface. The free software can be downloaded from our website and customized according to personal preferences.
  
• John’s blog, Truth Is All That Matters, receives an average of about 1,500 visitors each month.
• There are now 38 complete recordings of recent meetings with John on our podcast feed. They have been streamed and downloaded over 170,000 times.
• Two full-length videos, several shorter videos, and many video clips are streaming on our website, and can be found all over the Internet on a number of websites, including YouTube and Google Video.
• Complete transcriptions of Meetings are available on our website and we add more regularly.
• We maintain an online forum, Conversations, where people can communicate with one another, and share their experiences with self-inquiry.
• We offer an online Bulletin Board where people can request and offer rides and accommodations to/from our events.
• We send out a monthly e-mail newsletter and weekly e-mail event reminders to all those on our mailing list.
• John's e-book, Meeting Ramana Maharshi, is now offered free of charge on our website and has been downloaded more than 400 times since March 10, 2008.
• Our website receives an average of about 11,000 visitors every month.
• In May or June, videos of Meetings with John will begin showing on Public Access TV in 3 different cities in California.
• John's new book, Truth Is All That Matters, is almost ready to be sent to the printers. It contains edited transcriptions adapted from Meetings in 2007 and 2008, and original content written by John. The book will be released in September, 2008.
