For more than twelve years now, we have lived on the generosity of those who saw the promise in our efforts and have offered their spontaneous support. Until now, we have tried to avoid directly asking for money except when on the verge of actual financial collapse — something we have had to do ten times.

RiverGanga Foundation is a not-for-profit California corporation designated by the IRS to be a 509(a)(2) public charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. This designation exempts the foundation from paying corporate federal income tax. It also allows all donations to the foundation to be deducted from the donor's personal income tax in the United States as charitable donations.
